Should Coleraine Online Sellers Respond To Negative Reviews?

As a mentor for new Coleraine online business owners, I am mindful of how search engine dynamics affect home based business owners with online stores.

There are two schools of thought about negative reviews: To respond or not to respond.

In an article in the Direct Selling News, author Don Sorenson very effectively explains why responding to negative reviews may increase the harm to your online reputation. I believe the points that Mr. Sorenson makes regarding negative reviews are important for every Coleraine online seller.

I quote from Mr. Sorenson’s article:

‘When you see a negative review about your company the instinctive reaction is to post a response to set the record straight. I understand the human need to respond, but you have to consider Google’s point of view. Internet Safety For Derry Kids

No Derry parent wants their child to be exposed to Internet pornography, however, this tragedy occurs everyday. Why is there such a disconnect?

Some Derry parents may not realize that their young child can navigate the computer like a pro. Others may believe that their child would never go looking for inappropriate material.

If you think your Belfast kids are too young to worry about it, don’t be so sure. Northern Ireland parents continue to report that they found out too late that their child was exposed. I urge you to take precautions now.

With Internet pornography increasing everyday and young people succumbing to this cybermonster, Belfast parents wonder what they can do to prevent this from ever happening to their kids.

This advice bears repeating: Derry parents should put the computer in an open area so that it can be monitored. In addition, many forms of web protection are available for free. Though it is time-consuming, Derry parents would be wise to only allow their child use the Internet with Mom or Dad present.

Talk to your kids and ask them if they have encountered Internet pornography. Ask them what they did or what they would do in such a situation. Though this is a secondary concern: explain to them that certain web pages and ‘pop ups’ contain viruses that can damage the computer. Open communication is essential.

If your Derry children have encountered pornography, perhaps at a friend’s house, emphasize its destructive nature and teach them that what they saw is degrading to men, women, and healthy relationships. Internet pornography is a plague with many Derry victims, including children. It is up to Derry parents and youth leaders to help Derry children be safe online.

Safest Cars For Dublin Families

I recently read an article on Forbes.com that lists the safest cars of the year¹. Here are three that caught my eye with my comments thrown in:

1) The Tesla Model S four-door electric sedan. (I’ve never heard of this car but the makers claim it will go ’300 zero-emission miles on one charge.’¹ That’s a lot of trips to your closest Dublin grocery store with no adverse environmental impact!)
2) BMW Five Series. (This isn’t your ordinary Dublin kid hauler but it sure is pretty.)
3) Chevrolet Cruze. (This small sedan has the most budget-friendly MSRP of $16,275.)

As Belfast parents, our children’s’ health and safety should be our top priority. When it comes time to buy a new family car in Dublin , remember to check the safety ratings.

Homemade Heat Pack For Belfast Kids

Belfast parents are great at helping their children stay healthy and safe. Today on the Coleraine Children’s Health Blog, we wanted to give parents another way to help their kids: homemade heat packs. These easy-to-make heat packs are great for growing pains, sore muscles, or just some extra coziness at bedtime.

To start, simply go to any fabric store in the Cork, Dublin , or Derry area and choose some fabric (actually, you could even use an old t-shirt, fabric scraps, or a sock you have lying around). Cut two layers of the fabric one inch bigger than the desired size of the heat pack you would like for your child. A long rectangular shape is usually best.

Next, starting with one of the long sides, sew along the edges making sure to leave room for the seam allowance. Leave one short end open and fill the bag 2/3 full of rice. You can add a few drops of essential oil or herbs (these can be found at most Coleraine natural food stores) to give the heat pack a pleasant odor for your child. Tie the bag off at the open end with some cotton string, or stitch it shut, and you’re done!

When your ready to use it, be safe by only heating it in the microwave for one minute. Check to see if it’s warm enough, then add time in short increments from there. If your kids prefer a cold pack in the summer, these bags can go in the freezer to chill for a spell.

If you want to get extra fancy, any Cork, Dublin , or Derry fabric store would have interesting trimmings to add. But remember to avoid ribbons that have metal wire in them.

Healthy, happy Belfast kids and their parents can be comfortable all year long with these quick and easy heat packs!

Green Veggies Boost Immunity For Coleraine Kids

The study found that green vegetables help produce a chemical that is important for a strong immune system. The chemical provides signals to the immune cells in the gut and skin, helping them to function properly.
